Experimentation with animal print

                                    

 I was sketching a few designs and decided experiment with animal print; I wanted to see if it could be easily achieved using water colours. Here I have incorporated leopard print into a simple peplum design.  In the future I'd like to try and use a variety of different patterns, including animal prints, in my designs.

 I'm so sorry! I know this post is more than a little overdue but I seem to have been ridiculously busy lately! I'm afraid this weeks, late, post isn't fashion related because of my unusual lack of organisation. Due to this I decided to share with you a few snaps from the week of Birthday celebrations and silver Duke of Edinburgh.

Another Design Doodle

Since I last posted 'design doodles' and my feather peplum dress, I've become a little obsessed with incorporating feathers into my designs! In this design I have used peacock feathers throughout the body of the dress and instead of leaving the neckline strapless, added a sheer blue material for sleeves as it creates an almost iridescent finish.

This week's wish list

I'm so glad it's nearly my birthday! My wish lists from the last few months have been building up, so it will be nice to be able to get a few things from them. I am, unfortunately, aware that the Asos Leather pencil skirt is out of stock in black; I've spent forever searching eBay looking for one like it!
